Previously operated by Chevron and most recently by Total E&P. The challenge of Block 1 has never been in its prospectivity as exploration and appraisal campaigns have proved up at least 60MMBbls from two fields south of Egina and Akpo in Nigeria’s prolific OML130.

In 1700m water depth and with the only off-block development options for synergies lying approximately 23km North of location, PAPIS Energy Solutions and it Partners Equator and Dangote Energy Equity Resources, aim to take advantage of the lessons learnt from previous development plans and new technological approaches designed specifically for exploiting ‘stranded reserves’ such as been proven within Obo and Enitimi fields on Block 1 JDZ.

Pan African Petroleum Industrial Services Limited launch Exploration and Production arm, PAPIS Energy Solution.

PES together with its financial partners (www.amcapitalpartners.co.ao) are focused on acquiring equity rights in oil and gas appraisal and development fields across the continent but more specifically in West Africa.

The company will focus on developing deepwater fields and restarting stalled marginal oil fields, improving recovery and ensuring an economic return from assets which would otherwise be prematurely abandoned.

PAPIS Energy Solution signs a memorandum of understanding with FALCON Oil Holding Angola SA which holds participating interest in Block 15/06, 17/06 and 18/06 offshore Angola.

The agreement will foster a relationship of mutual technical support and collaborations.
